My apologies for our delays during our family crisis

PLEASE SEE THE EMAIL THAT WAS SENT OUT ON 1/19/16. THE FOLLOWING DAY MY HUSBAND WAS 

ADMITTED TO THE HOSPITAL FOR FIVE DAYS.

I AM TRYING MY DAMNEST TO GET CAUGHT UP BUT FAMILY WILL ALWAYS COME FIRST....

Dear Customers,

In the last few months my business has suffered because of several family issues. Most recently the week before Christmas a suicide and on Jan 6th my beloved brother in law was found dead. On Jan 3rd, my mother in law was admitted to a hospital where she is currently while arrangements are finalized to bring her to my home to live out her final days. Previously my now deceased brother in law had been her care giver 24/7 for the last three years. In October, I had back surgery on the same day my mother in law had another stroke- only weeks after my deceased brother in law had a heart attack. Everybody who works at Samantha Patrick Design's main office is family by blood or marriage except one person so when one major thing hits, it can be devastating for us as a family run business, never mind back to back issues.

I have tried my sincere best to keep up with emails directed towards me or to direct them to the correct person, but know we have been falling short.

There is probably 100 voice mails waiting for me to deal with on 1/19/16. Short of another family emergency, I expect to be in the office, fully staffed this week and for us to get caught up. I apologize for the problems some of you may have encountered and assure you that even with any delay, you will be taken care of and you are not being ignored.

This has taught me I need to hire more people and not have so much work that only I can handle. After I am caught up, I will look into how I can do that. If you have called repeatedly and not left a voicemail, please do leave a message l and we will answer you once the calls already pending are handled or send an email and somebody else can look into your matter.

I have not wanted to explain why we have not been living up to the customer service standards I strive for but several of my house mom accounts basically told me I absolutely should so customers do not feel slighted. Many of you have messaged me on Twitter - why no extra sales and stuff- this has been why, just getting through the day has been a challenge between my back surgery, my husband breaking his back in September, and so many family matters. This is also the reason the Pleaser Shoes project is not completed on my MyStripperCloset.com yet. It just has had to take a back burner. We are happy to handle any shoe order over the phone or by email- yes even for shoes not shown on MSC.

PLEASE PLEASE if you have a family member you have not talked to, take the time to resolve your issues. Tomorrow is never guaranteed for any of us. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
